Puppy is getting big. He is really such an adorable guy with the cutest personality. He is so sweet and really loves to cuddle. Did I mention that? LOL. He just wants to be where I am. He will sit down next to me while I watch tv and knit. It only took a few times of me saying "no" for him to not try and chew on the yarn. He is really turning into such a great dog who loves kids, cats and my other dogs. He is learning to go to the door most times but honestly the weather has been so cold that it will probably take  a little longer to train him. I don't like the cold either. Although he loves to play in the snow. I took some video of him playing with Theo. Now Theo sounds like he's going to hurt him because he's growling but that's just how he plays. Some dogs are very vocal. I hope you can see his cute personality coming through as he runs and jumps with Theo through the house.
Thanks for thinking rescue and stay warm!

Play Time and Snuggles with Theo

I must tell the truth. Theo is not playing with Peace in this video. I believe he is playing by himself and the puppy is chasing him. Whatever the truth is it doesn't matter because it tires the puppy out. A tired puppy is a puppy that will settle down at night and sleep. I don't know about you but this family loves a sleeping puppy.

Copper and Peace

My son loves to snuggle with this little guy.

Puppy Peace sleeps in the big bed.

Well, I have turned Puppy Peace into one of the biggest snugglers in the world and I kind of love it. He slept in the bed with us last night. I tried sneaking him in at first but my husband is too smart. Puppy Peace snuggled in next to me at first. He was a very little spoon. Hee hee. Then he decided it was too hot next to me and slept at my feet. I woke later to him in between me and my husband where he stayed the rest of the night. None of my other dogs get the privilege of the bed.  Except for Copper who sleeps there during the day.
He is doing so good with potty training too. He goes right to the door and before he starts to squat I open the door, he goes out and does his business. Granted I have to catch him by the door.  The key to potty training is paying attention.
He is great with my kids, cats, and other dogs. They are getting more used to him and have been playing with him more and more which of course he loves. Theo and him like to play chase outside but Puppy thought it would be better inside. He was running around the kitchen island from side to side and Theo would just wait for him and bark. It was pretty funny. He has tried playing with the cats and they tolerate it for about 10 seconds before they bop him one on his head. He went running away and then a few seconds later was going to come back and jump on the cat when he must have remembered it didn't go so well the last time so he quickly changed his direction. You could almost see his thought process unfolding. Cat-play-bop-turn.

This is where he hangs out when I am on the computer. Here he is napping after some serious play outside. Now he is chewing on a bone on his pillow waiting for me to be done with the computer. He follows me everywhere and if I sit he will settle down right next to me. He's just such a sweet boy. It's going to be very difficult to let this one go. As I say, it's not about me. It's about the dogs.

Lots of snow to play in.

Puppy Peace loves the snow. He only wishes someone would play with him in it. Peace is such a sweet boy. I just can't believe what a snuggler he is.  Potty training is coming along but honestly it's difficult with the weather being so cold and the snow so deep. If you are looking for a cute, cuddly, sweet little guy. Peace is your boy.

Here are a few cute pics of him outside after the snow storm.

"Oh boy this snow sure is deep."
"Ick, yellow snow!"
