Peace Puppy loves to hang out in the bathroom when I'm getting ready. His favorite thing though is to jump into the tub when I'm all done. He was barking at the shower scrubbys hanging on the wall and jumped up to get one. He thought that was great fun as he ran off down the hall with it.
He has really been an easy puppy for the most part. He knows sit very well. We are still working on potty training but as you know it can take a while. Especially because I get distracted very easily and forget to put him outside every hour and a half. Now that it is finally warming up it will be so much easier. We will spend more and more time outside together. He also went on his second walk with Theo, Kinsey, Daryle and I. He did pretty good. Only got tangled a few times. He's a good walker though. You could see his excitement with every new smell.
Last night he even branched out and sat on my husbands lap and both of my kids. When he's tired and wants to snuggle he's not so picky anymore which is kind of nice.
Feel free to take your time forever family. I wouldn't mind keeping this guy around for a while yet. He's so sweet and makes me laugh everyday. Plus he's a lot easier to walk with than any of my dogs and I hope to get in shape with him.
Me, Theo, and Peace Puppy in our usual spots come night time.
Thanks for thinking rescue!
Snuggle time is the best time. The dogs are like angels then.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - so nice to have an update on this one. We got Patience and pups at 1 day old and I swore not to fall in love as I was sure they wouldn't all make it - the runt was less than 3 ounces and the others quite tiny as well. We miss them but know they are in good hands. Take care of the little fellow - we miss them. And tell him the Fletcher Family will always love him!

Awe. It's so wonderful to hear a little back story and get to meet others that were involved with their rescue. I know what you mean about falling in love. I don't know how I'm going to let him go. I love his antics and goofiness. Plus he's just the best snuggler ever. I will give him lots of kisses for you. Thank you for helping save him.
