I can't help but love this little guy!

Spring has finally sprung and we are having so much fun exploring and learning about outside. Unfortunately Peace puppy may be learning some not so great habits from my dogs like digging. Sorry forever family. He watches for a bit and tries it then gets bored and would rather find a stick to chew on. 

 We recently had a "burning party" and all of my friends fell in love with Puppy. He was being passed around which he did not mind in the least. He was tired from playing most of the day and just wanted to snuggle on someones lap by the fire.  

We are having less accidents in the house but still not totally potty trained yet. If there is a towel or rug by the door he chooses to go on that instead of asking to go outside. Some dogs just take longer than others. He doesn't mind getting brushed but I wait until he's tired and do it at night.  He would be the perfect play mate if you have another dog. In fact I think he would almost prefer that to being the only dog.  I'm sure he'd be fine as an only dog but you better be willing to walk and play with him then.  He is a puppy and puppies have a lot of energy.  Well that's all for now. So it's been kind of busy around here.  I have lots of pictures for all to see.  Peace Puppy is about 20 lbs. now and just so stinking cute.  He plays pretty rough with my dogs or I guess I should say my dogs are teaching him how to play rough which is probably not the best thing but when your the smallest guy in the pack you have to learn how to hang with the big guys and girl.  He is still a great snuggler and sleeps in between my husband and I every night.  Potty training is still coming along. He is jumping at the door now so I will call that progress.  Plus we are spending more and more time outside.

I almost forgot to post the video of Peace Puppy playing in the bathtub. He's a smart little dog. He's the perfect combination of playful, sweet, naughty, and cuddle. Love this little guy.

Someone Loves the Bathtub

Peace Puppy loves to hang out in the bathroom when I'm getting ready.  His favorite thing though is to jump into the tub when I'm all done.  He was barking at the shower scrubbys hanging on the wall and jumped up to get one.  He thought that was great fun as he ran off down the hall with it.

He has really been an easy puppy for the most part.  He knows sit very well.  We are still working on potty training but as you know it can take a while.  Especially because I get distracted very easily and forget to put him outside every hour and a half.  Now that it is finally warming up it will be so much easier.  We will spend more and more time outside together.  He also went on his second walk with Theo, Kinsey, Daryle and I.  He did pretty good.  Only got tangled a few times.  He's a good walker though.  You could see his excitement with every new smell.

Last night he even branched out and sat on my husbands lap and both of my kids.  When he's tired and wants to snuggle he's not so picky anymore which is kind of nice.

Feel free to take your time forever family. I wouldn't mind keeping this guy around for a while yet. He's so sweet and makes me laugh everyday.  Plus he's a lot easier to walk with than any of my dogs and I hope to get in shape with him.

Puppy is getting big. He is really such an adorable guy with the cutest personality. He is so sweet and really loves to cuddle. Did I mention that? LOL. He just wants to be where I am. He will sit down next to me while I watch tv and knit. It only took a few times of me saying "no" for him to not try and chew on the yarn. He is really turning into such a great dog who loves kids, cats and my other dogs. He is learning to go to the door most times but honestly the weather has been so cold that it will probably take  a little longer to train him. I don't like the cold either. Although he loves to play in the snow. I took some video of him playing with Theo. Now Theo sounds like he's going to hurt him because he's growling but that's just how he plays. Some dogs are very vocal. I hope you can see his cute personality coming through as he runs and jumps with Theo through the house.
